Favorite lettuce for adding texture to salad mixes. It forms a head of leaves that can weigh 8 to 16 oz. You can harvest the outer leaves while it is growing and then remove the entire head before it overripes and changes flavor. Sow in loose soil with compost, and plenty of water.
