(Carica papaya)
This fruit tree produces large, oval papayas that are 10" to 16" long. Its flavor is soft and sweet and its color is light orange. The plant is a field variety that can grow as tall as 20 feet but start producing at 5 to 6 feet tall. It likes well-drained soil, preferably with stones.
